I am changing careers--from Suing to Sewing! :) Somehow my devotion to the only sport i know--window shopping--has paid off. I have stolen ideas on the racks (**very devious laugh**) and made my own version of..tantadaadaaaaannnnn...a blouse haha so anti-climactic. Now don't get your hopes all too high, it's just a pair of square cloth sewn together to resemble a blouse (at least that's what I did :) )
See this blouse? Ingon ani ra akong peg.
This design is all over the malls lately because of its summery vibe. I like it because it hides my bilbil hehe anything to avoid muffin-top, I'm all for it. It's actually not rocket science...because I can't do rocket science, I don't have the patience and the brain cells. So, as in a true i'm-good-so-i'll-tell-you-what-i-know fashion, I documented my current conquest :
I chose a light fabric because I wanted a drapey look. I didn't use the rest of the threads, I just put them there to make it look like I knew what I was doing :) |
I found an old blouse that had the looseness and fit that I wanted and traced its outline on the back of the cloth. I like this blouse because it looks like a scrubsuit :) |
Next project...Underwear! :)
